"Во Франции впервые зафиксирована долгосрочная ремиссия у рожденного с ВИЧ ребенка У рожденной с ВИЧ французской девушки-подростка, которая проходила лечение в 6 лет, отсутствуют признаки инфекции в течение 12 лет. Это первый случай долгосрочной ремиссии у зараженного с рождения ребенка, сообщает Reuters со ссылкой на представленный в канадском Ванкувере доклад собрания Международного общества СПИДа. Девушка принадлежит к небольшой группе тех, кто достиг ремиссии после ранней антиретровирусной терапии. Ее случай считается самым длинным среди зафиксированных у детей. В 2013 году сообщалось о ребенке из Миссиссиппи, который после терапии провел 27 месяцев без лечения, пока инфекция не вернулась. Доктор Асьер Саэз-Сирион из Института Пастера в Париже подчеркнул, что девочка не принадлежит к так называемым "элитным контролерам" (немногочисленной группе инфицированных людей, которые от природы способны контролировать вирус, не допуская его размножения), поэтому ремиссию стоит записать именно на счет успешной антиретровирусной терапии."
